Here it is, the info we’ve been all expecting for so long: the first Windows Phones 7 will be arriving at the end of 2010 and the producers are telling us, to expect a revolutionary phone. Windows Phone 7 won’t be just a Windows Mobile OS Update, but it will represent the begining of a new generation phones.

“A different kind of phone, designed to keep your life in motion”

Packed up with a load of features, the following companies were listed as partners and will most probably start building the first Windows Phone 7: Qualcomm, Dell, LG, Samsung, Garmin-Asus, HTC, HP, Sony Ericsson, and Toshiba.

In spite of all this, there are several speculations circullating, which made us wonder… how great will this Windows Phone 7 be?

For example, we’ve heard this idea that Windows Phone 7 will have multi tasking blocked (each of us will have to demand the activation of this service individually). What also concerns us is the risk of no compatibility to Windows Mobile applications and software created and developed untill now. If Windows Phone 7 will be as revolutionary as Microsoft says it will be, well then surely older Windows Mobile apps won’t get along with this mobile OS.
