This is how it works: you enter the Starbucks store, you turn on your Starbucks Android App, scan a code when buying coffee, you get your coffee and you can go. No ordering, no paying. Of course it’s a litte more complicated than that, but let me tell you the whole story. Starbucks now enables their clients to create a Starbucks card and load it with money. The Starbucks Android App is able to connect to your card and every time you make an order, you can directly pay from your Starbucks card (by scanning the automatically generated code on the Android display) and get your coffee. There will be no need for credit cards, cash money or anything else, this way the ordering time reduced by more than a half.

Starbucks Android app is available for all Android 2.1+ phones and you can directly install it on your phone from the App Market.
